MAIL OF THE MOMENT |
|

"Dear KC, I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you
during our coaching session. Your energy is
completely inspiring. Thank you for looking at
my business and myself honestly and sharing your
opinions and insights with me. Very helpful!! I
have been very busy implementing many of the
pieces we spoke about. When the fear begins to
rise up, I immediately turn to my tool box and
become active in making a positive and powerful
shift.
I thank you from the wholeness of my being for
helping me see how I can make my business far
more prosperous than it ever has been. I know
you recognize my mission for spreading more
light and love in the world. It is my soul's
craving! Thank you for helping me fulfill this
in a beautiful way."

PUN OF THE MOMENT |
|
The optician fell into the lens grinding machine
and made a spectacle of himself. |

UNCERTAIN MARRIAGE OF THE MOMENT |
While attending a marriage seminar on
communication, Tom and his wife Peg listened to
the instructor declare, "It is essential that
husbands and wives know the things that are
important to each other." He addressed the
men, "Can you describe your wife's favorite
flower?" Tom leaned over, touched his wife's
arm gently and whispered, "Pillsbury
All-Purpose, isn't it?"
The rest of the story is not pleasant. |

HAPPY STATS OF THE MOMENT |

Did you hear that when Robert Half
International, an executive recruitment firm,
surveyed 1,000 executives, they found that 84
percent felt that workers with a sense of humor
do a better job? |

BEST EXPERIENCE OF THE MOMENT |
Attention
All Busy Women! Are you stressed? Exhausted?
Overworked? Under appreciated? Take one
night a week and leave the kids, the phone, the
job and the responsibilities behind…if only for
a few hours a month…because…now….IT’S YOUR
TURN!
Back by popular demand, our very own Joyologist
& professional Success Coach KC is encouraging
women to eliminate their stress, banish their
blues and put themselves first, especially
during the month of October! Enrollment is now
being accepted for two NEW Women’s Coaching
Groups aptly named “IT’S MY TURN!”
The first “It’s My Turn”
Empowering Women’s Coaching Group will be held
in the quaint town of Exeter, New Hampshire and
is open to all women over 18. KC is inviting
women to join together in the healing ambience
of her comfortable office, where they will
connect, experience coaching, be energized,
encouraged and supported in their dreams and
busy lives in a positive, confidential and fun
environment. Personal development topics will
include stress reduction, self-care, achieving
balance, juggling families and work, focusing,
priorities, time management, organization,
building confidence, achieving goals and more.
There are two options available: The
in-person women’s coaching group will be held
Thursday evenings October 6th-27th from
6:30-8:00 p.m. The $75.00 fee includes the four
week program in NH, snacks and special gifts.
For those who live far away, have childcare
issues, or don't want the inconvenience of traffic or
travel, the “It’s MY TURN” four
week phone group is open to women anywhere in
the world and will be held 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Eastern Standard time every other Sunday on a
private conference line. Dates are: October 23,
November 6, November 20, December 4. The fee for
the phone group is $55.00.
Members in both inspiring groups will be given
helpful resources, positive tools and fun
surprises. Gift certificates are available. To
preserve the intimate nature of the groups,
space is VERY limited and on a first-come first
serve basis. A coaching group for teenage women
is also being established. Call the office to
register! |

SAD PERSPECTIVE OF THE MOMENT |
A guy turns to his friend as they walk down the
street and groans, “I’m a walking display of
our economy.” The friend looks puzzled.
“How so?”
“My hair line is in recession, my stomach is a
victim of inflation, and both of these together
are putting me into a deep depression!” |
|
LESSONS OF THE MOMENT |
A young man hired by a supermarket reported for
his first day of work. The manager greeted him
with a warm handshake and a smile, gave him a
broom and said, "Your first job will be to
sweep out the store."
"But I'm a college graduate," the young
man replied indignantly.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know that," said
the manager. "Here, give me the broom - I'll
show you how." |

NETWORKING TIPS OF THE MOMENT |
|
Heading out to a Chamber of Commerce mixer, BNI
meeting or another networking event in your
community? Clients often ask for assistance with
how to “work the room, network successfully,
overcoming their shyness or making the business
hour more productive. Here are a few quick tips
I’ve written just for you! Attracting the
people you want:
- Be Approachable! Smile and make eye
contact! People will interact with those who
are approachable and friendly. Don’t carry
too much (juggling a purse, notebook,
brochures, plate full of munchies or wine
glass?) Put it down so you can offer a firm
handshake to someone new. It is a fact that
people do business with those they like,
respect and trust. This is their first
impression of you as a professional; make it
a positive one.
- Be Curious! Ask about them! Asking
questions about the other person will engage
them and give them a warm feeling about you.
It will show you care and are interested and
stand out from those just talking about
themselves. You can learn a lot about them
in a short time.
- Be a Resource !Listen to their problems
and what causes them stress. Then you can be
the one to offer a solution, fill their
need. They will be forever grateful and know
they will remember you as a knowledgeable,
positive resource.
Attracting the opportunities you want:
- Get Clear– Before you head to the
meeting or event, clarify what it is you
want and need and the type of opportunities
you are looking for.
- Ask For What You Need– If it feels
right, don’t hesitate to speak up and weave
your goals/ your wishes into the
conversation. You just never know who knows
who.
- Listen! By incorporating the above tips
listed in the first paragraph, you will find
out what they are struggling with and you
will be the one to fill that need.
- Be Open-minded– Be creative, innovative
and stay open to new people, new
collaborations, new ideas. Remember the
connections you make are about long-term
relationship building. View this networking
event as planting seeds…you never know which
person you chat with that night will someday
blossom into a great business relationship
or which opportunity you learned about will
one day grow into something incredible!

WORSE OOPS OF THE MOMENT |
The
News photographer was just assigned a huge story
about the largest wildfires sweeping the state,
that the area had ever seen. He quickly used a
cell phone to call the local airport to charter
a flight where he was told a twin engine plane
would be waiting for him.
He zoomed to the airfield, then spotted a small
plane warming up outside a hanger. He jumped in
with his bag and photo equipment, slammed the
door shut, and shouted, "Let's go!"
The pilot taxied out, swung the plane into the
wind and took off. Once in the air, the
photographer instructed the pilot, "Fly over
the valley and make low passes so I can take
pictures of the fires on the hillsides.'"
"Why?'" asked the pilot with a puzzled
look on his face.
"Because I'm a News photographer and I need
to get some close up shots."
The pilot was strangely silent for a moment,
before he finally stammered,
"Soooo, what you're telling me, is…you're
NOT
my flight instructor?!" |

BAD
INTERVIEW OF THE MOMENT |
A man went to apply for a job. After filling out
all of his application forms, he waited
anxiously for the outcome. The employer reviewed
the application and then announced, “We have
an opening for people like you.”
“Oh, that’s great,” said the man.
“What is it?”
“It’s called the door!” |
