And finally, there was the person who sent twenty different puns to his friends, with the hope that at least ten of the puns would make them laugh. No pun in ten did.

BAD ESCAPE PLANNING OF THE MOMENT
SIGNS OF THE MOMENT
On the wall of a Baltimore estate: "Trespassers will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.-Sisters of Mercy"

On a long-established New Mexico dry cleaners: "38 years on the same spot."

In a Florida maternity ward: "No children allowed."

In a funeral parlor: "Ask about our layaway plan."

BLONDE JOKE OF THE MOMENT
Courtesy of Bonnie & Darbie Bufford
A gorgeous young redhead goes into the doctor's office, saying her body hurt wherever she touched it.  "Impossible!" says the doctor. "Show me what you mean."  The redhead took her finger, pushed on her left shoulder and screamed, then she pushed her elbow and screamed again. She pushed her knee and screamed even more; likewise she pushed hard on her ankle and let out a bloodcurdling scream. Everywhere she touched made her scream.
The doctor looked at the poor girl and said, "You're not really a redhead, are you?   Well, no" she replied puzzled, "I'm actually a blonde. I thought so," the doctor said, "Your finger is broken."
INSIGHT OF THE MOMENT
I have met a number of people and clients recently whose lack of confidence acts like a huge boulder in their shiny path of opportunity. Of course we coach around this, but it still dismays me in the beginning. They are smart, talented, kind, fantastic folks with such potential, yet they are not empowered. They truly get in their own way.

In my book, "Speaking of Success," my wonderful co-author, Jack Canfield who has touched millions of lives with his best-selling Chicken Soup for the Soul series, shares this sage advice: "Number one is to believe in yourself, believe in your dreams. Trust your own feelings, your own motivations, what turns you on, what you want to do, what makes you feel good, and quit worrying about what other people, say, think and want for you. Decide what you want for yourself and then do what you need to do to go about getting it."

MYSTERY MAN OF THE MOMENT
A man and a woman were having dinner in a fine restaurant. Their waitress, taking another order at a table a few paces away noticed that the man was slowly sliding down his chair and under the table, with the woman acting unconcerned.

The waitress watched as the man slid all the way down his chair and out of sight under the table. Still, the woman dining across from him appeared calm and unruffled, apparently unaware that her dining companion had disappeared.

After the waitress finished taking the order, she came over to the table and said to the woman, "Pardon me, ma'am, but I think your husband just slid under the table."

The woman calmly looked up at her and replied firmly, "No he didn't. He just walked in the door."
CRAZY INVENTION OF THE MOMENT

TOUGH MOM OF THE MOMENT

Like any mother, I was worried when my son joined the marines. But later on, when I asked my son how things were going, he put my mind at ease.
“Let me put it this way, Mom, Living with you prepared me for boot camp.”
LAUGHTER-FILLED VIDEO OF THE MOMENT
Our regular subscribers know how we promote the power of laughter. There is a nifty quote that goes, “A smile starts on the lips, A grin spreads to the eyes, A chuckle comes from the belly; But a good laugh bursts forth from the soul, Overflows, and bubbles all around.” So perfect for this delightful video of a man on the subway who completely changes the energy of his fellow passengers on the train and brightens their day with laughter. Also notice how at the end, he quietly gets on another train and starts spreading the joy all over again. May it make you smile too!

HEALTH STUDY OF THE MOMENT
Did you know it’s healthy to look on the sunny side of life? They reported on the news today of a recent study that those who are more positive are 22% less likely to get heart disease than those who are not.

And how ‘bout this? A Science Daily study found that people who are energetic, happy and relaxed are less likely to catch colds, while those who are depressed, anxious or just plain mad more often are more likely to complain about cold symptoms, whether or not they get sick! Wow…our laughter-lovin’ subscribers must be the healthiest folks on the planet! YAY!

COOL CONNECTING TOOL OF THE MOMENT
I am always trying to work smarter not harder, plus provide quality service and stay in touch with folks I care about. I just discovered a powerful, heartfelt way to reach out to friends, family and clients, cultivate new customers and build relationships. It’s a growing company based on coaching principles of laws of attraction, kindness, giving, making a difference, helping others. I love that and we practice it here in my company as well. You can select a beautiful card (out of 13,000 in the catalog) for less than 62 cents, say whatever you want in your own handwriting – and then after they check the proper address, it’s stuffed and mailed FOR YOU! WOW! No more driving from store to store, or running out of stamps. What a time and money saver.

The cards are unique and personalized. Here’s some positive feedback already…"I got your card and I laughed for about an hour.” – K. in Maine “Loved the crayon card!!!! Where on earth did you get it done?” – C. in New Hampshire

I was so impressed I became a distributor and now that’s just another PR and networking tool. It’s a fantastic tool for the busy business owner who needs a smart, efficient system to stay in touch with clients on a regular basis and perfect for the frazzled person juggling a lot at home. (Also great for people who want to earn residule income.) Check out my new site and send a free card to anyone you want or contact me for details. Have fun & get connected!

CREATIVE SECURITY OF THE MOMENT
Courtesy of a KC Fan in NH
This is a true story of a Auto Shop Owner in New Mexico. He was sick and tired of thugs breaking into his garage to steal expensive tools and equipment. So he came up with a cunning idea. He spread the word that he had recently acquired a furious Mexican Lion that would attack anyone that climbed the fence or broke in to his Garage. Crime completely stopped at his business as would-be thieves saw the "Lion" from a distance and fled the scene.
