In 2011, I will

OOPS OF THE MOMENT

It was Entertainment
Night at the Senior Center and the elderly
residents were seated around the well-known
hypnotist., Claude. He looked out at the
gray-haired, eager senior citizens and
exclaimed, “I’m here to put you into a
trance. I intend to hypnotize each and every
member of the audience.”
The excitement was almost electric as Claude
withdrew a beautiful, antique pocket watch from
his long black coat.
“I want you each to keep your eye on this
antique watch. It’s a very special watch. It’s
been in my family for six generations.”
Claude began to swing the watch gently back and
forth while quietly chanting, “Watch the
watch, watch the watch, watch the watch...”
The crowd at the senior center became mesmerized
as the watch swayed back and forth, light
gleaming off its polished surface. Hundreds of
pairs eyes followed the swaying watch until,
suddenly, it slipped from the hypnotist’s
fingers and fell to the floor, breaking into a
hundred pieces.
"CRAP!" shouted the shocked hypnotist.
It took three days to clean up the Senior
Center.
Claude the hypnotist was never invited back to
entertain again. |

The bride was anything but a tidy housekeeper.
It didn't bother her much until one evening when
her husband called out from the hall, somewhat
dismayed: "Honey, what happened to the dust
on this table? I had a phone number written on
it." |

VOICE OVER OF THE MOMENT |

I was excited when I got the call from
Eisenberg, Vital & Ryze Advertising to come on
down to their studio and do a voiceover spot for
Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Nice people
and I enjoyed working with them once again on
this voiceover spot. If you are in need of a
voiceover for your business, we have our own
studio and can email you the finished piece or
if you are in NH, Maine or Mass, I can head to a
studio near you. If you need an announcer for a
special event, I do that too. |

DRIVING TEST OF THE MOMENT |
 A
professional juggler, driving to his next
performance, is stopped by the police.
"What are you doing with these matches and
lighter fluid in your car?" asks the
suspicious police officer.
"I'm a juggler and I juggle flaming torches
in my act."
"Oh yeah? Let's see you do it," says the
officer.
So the juggler gets out and starts juggling the
blazing torches masterfully.
A couple driving by slows down to watch.
"Wow," says the driver to his wife. "I'm
glad I quit drinking. Look at the test they're
giving now!" |

On New Year's Eve, Daniel was in no shape to
drive, so he sensibly left his van in the car
park and walked home. As he was wobbling along,
he was stopped by a policeman. "What are you
doing out here at four o'clock in the morning?"
asked the police officer.
"I'm on my way to a lecture," answered
Roger.
"And who on earth, in their right mind, is
going to give a lecture at this time on New
Year's Eve?" enquired the constable
sarcastically.
"My wife," slurred Daniel grimly. |

Hello KC! It's a new year and I wanted to let
you know that this will be my last email for a
while. Life is short and I want to take time to
see this great country of ours. So...I bought a
motorcycle, am going to quit my job and stop
emailing you for awhile and travel full time
with a biker gang to see America and enjoy life
while I still can. Don't worry about me - they
all seem like really nice people!

A business magazine ran a contest asking for
Dilbert-like quotes from people who had
real-life Dilbert-like managers. Here are some
of the winners.
- As of tomorrow, employees will only be
able to access the building using individual
security cards. Pictures will be taken next
Wednesday and employees will receive their
cards in two weeks.
